Windows - Georgian Style
Approximately 2,400 PVC-U windows were installed by Sutton Windows in London buildings of over 100 years old for a top UK housing association. The windows were chosen by the trust to provide an authentic replacement for the existing traditional Georgian style timber windows.
The housing association opted for the arched head version of the product incorporating an attractive Georgian bar. This was on the outside of the glass as well as being inside the sealed unit.
The windows are ideal for like-for-like replacement installations where an authentic Georgian style sash window is required. Sutton Windows installations re-create the look of this window type so accurately, with all of the added benefits of PVC-U, that it may be used with confidence even in conservation areas.
