Front / Back Doors

It's that magic moment when you close the door firmly on the world outside and relax, confident that your door gives a warm welcome to friends, yet provides a formidable barrier to unwanted visitors. Whether you're looking for a new front door, back door, patio or French doors, Sutton Windows has the answer with an extensive choice of styles in a white, light woodgrain or rich mahogany effect finish - all tailor-made for your home.

Inward and outward opening doors are available, both solid and glazed, with the option of panels in plain, stained or patterned glass to complement your individual house style. Sutton Windows doors have high-grade rot-proof weather seals to beat draughts and minimise heat loss, helping to keep heating costs down, plus a high security door lock.

Thanks to its traditional style latch, when used with a lever/lever handle set, the Sutton Windows door lock ensures you and your family are protected as soon as the door is closed behind you. Once you lift the handle upwards, automatic deadbolts lock into the outer frame, these together with a strong hook lock in the centre, help to keep intruders out.

To protect the hinge side of the door, security hinge bolts are fitted to all inward opening doors. This is a two piece mazac die-casting which interlock together when the door leaf is in the closed position. The security hinge bolt is designed to restrict the door sash movement when being prised away from the outer frame during an attack.

High security locking systems and toughened glass are standard and easily passed the insurance industries requirement for PAS 23/24.

Appearance.

Doors can be either glazed with safety glass or thermally insulated panels. Low threshold options are available which includes a thermally broken aluminium threshold which is suitable for wheelchair access.

Hardware.

The residential door is supplied with a multi-point lock which has a central latch and deadbolt and a further two deadbolts and a single hook. Operation of the hook and deadbolts is controlled by the movement of the door handle whilst the central deadbolt is locked in position by means of the door cylinder.

The strikers are all profile specific and are manufactured from a mazac die-casting and have a stainless steel covering.
